Hello, Dear Reader!
My debut novel, The Button Boy, was written to challenge myself to finish a book from three words. The words came to me one morning and stuck with me; it was as if someone was trying to put a title in my head and urging me to do something with it. At the time, I wanted to take up writing again after a ten year hiatus, and decided I would, and do something with those words. What transpired were words coming out on paper that I never dreamed I had in me that needed saying.

For the last month I'm working on a new writing project. It is still unnamed, but I should have a title soon.
The book will be fiction about the trials and tribulations of life in the forest. The book will be based on a book of poems I wrote 15 years ago for family and friends but was never published. I've decided to enhance it into story form.

Sales have been on the slow side and it has been disheartening. But, I'm a big girl, and I picked myself up and got busy. One of my bad features is being an introvert. That is hampering my ability to sell my books as I can't get myself to go into bookstores and talk about myself. But I knew that going into writing. I'm doing the best I can with social media.
